Description:
Liz0ziM has discovered a vulnerability in DVGuestbookV2.0, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

Input passed to the "page" parameter in "index.php" is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

Successful exploitation requires "register_globals" to be enabled.

The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in version 1.2.2 and 1.6. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Set "register_globals" to "Off" or use another product.

Provided and/or discovered by:
