Description: Patrik Karlsson has reported a vulnerability in Wordpress, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed to the "User-Agent" HTTP header when commenting on an article isn't properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation requires that users are allowed to post comments without moderation.
The vulnerability has been reported in version 1.5.2. Prior versions may also be affected.
