Description: SkOd has reported a vulnerability in the D2-Shoutbox module for IPB, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed to the "load" parameter in index.php isn't properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Example:
http://[victim]/index.php?act=Shoutbox&view=saved&load=[code]
The vulnerability has been reported in version 4.2. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Update to version 4.2.1.
