Description: Leon Juranic has reported a vulnerability in PeerCast, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error within the handling of the parameters received in an URL. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer and may allow arbitrary code execution via a specially-crafted URL.
The vulnerability has been reported in version 0.1215. Prior versions may also be affected.
