Description: Aliaksandr Hartsuyeu has reported a vulnerability in PHP SimpleNEWS and PHP SimpleNEWS MySQL, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions.
The vulnerability is caused due to an insecure authentication process in "admin.php". This can be exploited to access the administration section by supplying a specially crafted "admin" cookie parameter.
The vulnerability has been reported in version 1.0.0. Other versions may also be affected.
