| CVE reference: | CVE-2006-1224
|
|
Description: trueend5 has reported a vulnerability in GuppY, which can be exploited by malicious people to manipulate certain information.
Input passed to the "pg" parameter in "dwnld.php" isn't properly sanitised before being used to write a counter value to ".dtb" files. This can be exploited to overwrite arbitrary files via directory traversal attacks.
Successful exploitation requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.
The vulnerability has been reported in version 4.5.11 and prior.
Solution: Update to version 4.5.12.
