Description: rgod has discovered a security issue in Simple PHP Blog, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive information.
Input passed to the "blog_language" parameter in "install05.php" isn't properly verified, before it is used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local resources.
Successful exploitation requires that the "install05.php" file has not been removed after installation and that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.
The security issue has been confirmed in version 0.4.7.1 and has also been reported in prior versions (from version 0.4.5).
Solution: The security issue has been fixed in version 0.4.7.2.
Provided and/or discovered by: rgod
Changelog: 2006-04-24: Updated "Description" section.
