Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in Softbiz Image Gallery Script, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting and SQL injection attacks.

1) Input passed to the "id" parameter in image_desc.php, the "cid" parameter in suggest_image.php and images.php, the "img_id" parameter in insert_rating.php, and to the "provided" parameter in template.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

2) Input passed via the URL to various files (e.g. index.php, images.php, suggest_image.php, and image_desc.php) and the "msg" parameter in various files within the admin/ folder (e.g. index.php, adminhome.php, config.php, changepassword.php, cleanup.php, browsecats.php, and images.php) is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

The vulnerabilities have been reported in the latest version. Other versions may also be affected.
