Description: Syst3m_f4ult has reported a security issue in Hosting Controller, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive information.
The problem is caused due to user credentials being stored in the "forum/db/forum.mdb" database file inside the web root. This can be exploited to disclose the administrator's username and password.
The security issue has been reported in version 6.1. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Restrict web access to the "forum.mdb" database file.
