Description:
Ole Kasper Olsen and Kjetil Kjernsmo have reported a vulnerability in Imager, which can be exploited by malicious people to crash certain applications on a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error within the processing of certain images and can be exploited to crash an application using the vulnerable Perl module when a specially crafted JPEG or TGA image is processed.

Solution:
Update to version 0.50 or later.
