Description: king_purba has discovered a vulnerability in MAXdev MD-Pro, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed to the "topicid" parameter in index.php isn't properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Example:
http://[host]/index.php?module=Topics&func=display&topicid=[code]
It is also possible to disclose the full path to "includes/legacy.php" by accessing it directly.
The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 1.0.76. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: The vulnerability has been fixed in an updated 1.0.76 version.
Provided and/or discovered by: king_purba
Changelog: 2006-04-13: Added CVE references.
2006-06-21: Updated "Solution" section.
