Description:
Psych0 has discovered multiple vulnerabilities in PHPWebGallery, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

Input passed to the "cat", "num", and "search" parameters in category.php and to the "slideshow", "show_metadata", and "start" parameters is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in versions 1.4.1 and 1.5.2. Other versions may also be affected.
