Description:
Ph03n1X has discovered a vulnerability in VegaDNS, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct SQL injection attacks.

Input passed to the "cid" parameter in index.php when editing the account is not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation requires group admin privileges.

The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 0.9.9.1 and has also been reported in version 0.9.9. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
