Description:
rgod has discovered a vulnerability in PHP121 Instant Messenger, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed in cookies to php121login.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
This can reportedly further be exploited to include arbitrary local files on a windows system.
Successful exploitation requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.
The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 1.4. Other versions may also be affected.
