Description:
c0ntex has reported a vulnerability in xine-ui, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a format string error in the "print_formatted()" function in xitk/main.c when processing a specially crafted playlist containing a file with format specifiers in its file path.

Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 0.99.4. Other versions may also be affected.
