Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in Neuron Blog, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct script insertion attacks and SQL injection attacks, and by malicious users to compromise a vulnerable system.

1) Input passed to the "commentname" and "commentwebsite" parameters in "pages/addcomment2.php" is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when malicious comments are viewed.

2) Input passed to the "commentname", "commentmail", "commentwebsite", and "comment" parameters in "pages/addcomment2.php" is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.

3) The file upload functionality in admin/pages/blog-add2.php fails to validate the extension of an uploaded file. This can be exploited to upload files with arbitrary extensions (e.g. ".php") and execute arbitrary PHP code on the server.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires valid administrator credentials.

The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in version 1.1. Other versions may also be affected.
