CVE-2008-2282

Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in Internet Photoshow, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions and compromise a vulnerable system.

1) Input passed to the "page" parameter in index.php is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary PHP code by including files from local and external resources.

2) The access to certain pages (e.g. gallerie/admin.php, gallerie/email.php) is not properly restricted. This can be exploited to bypass the security restrictions and access those pages by setting the "login_admin" cookie to "true".

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.3. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly verified. Restrict access to administrative pages (e.g. via ".htaccess").

Use another product.
