Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in WWWthreads, which can be exploited by malicious users and malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.

1) Input passed to the "messages" parameter is not properly sanitised in message_list.php before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation requires permission to access this page.

2) Input passed to the "referral_id" parameter via a cookie in register.php is not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

The vulnerabilities have been reported in version RC 3. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
