Description: A vulnerability has been reported in 3Com Baseline Switch 2848-SFP, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an error within the handling of DHCP packets. This can be exploited to cause the switch to become unstable via DHCP packets that exceed 342 bytes in length.
Solution: Update to firmware version 1.0.2.0.
