Description: Some vulnerabilities and a security issue have been discovered in Bookmark4U, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions and to compromise a vulnerable system.
1) Access to "admin/config.php" is not properly restricted. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary SQL queries by posting appropriate "sqlcmd" and "mode" parameters.
2) Input passed to the "env[include_prefix]" parameter in inc/common.php, inc/config.php, inc/dbase.php, and inc/function.php is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary PHP code by including files from local or external resources.
Successful exploitation of #2 requires that "register_globals" is enabled and that the "Limit" directive in inc/.htaccess is ignored by the web server.
The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in version 2.0 and 2.1. Other versions may also be affected.
