Description:
Luigi Auriemma has reported a vulnerability in Skulltag, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) and to compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a format string error within the handling of the version string received from a client. This can potentially be exploited to crash the server and may allow arbitrary code execution.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 0.96f. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Reportedly fixed in version 0.97d-beta 4.2.
