Description:
Chris Evans has reported a vulnerability in Beagle, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to the insecure construction of commandline arguments that are passed to external helper applications. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary commandline arguments to the helper applications by e.g. tricking a user into downloading a specially named file.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 0.2.4. Prior versions may also be affected.
