Description:
Leon Juranic has discovered a vulnerability in PHP, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the PHP "wordwrap()" function. This can be exploited to cause a heap-based buffer overflow via overly long strings passed to the function.

The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 5.1.2 and also reported in version 4.4.2. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Update to version 4.4.3 or 5.1.3.

Ensure that PHP scripts do not call the "wordwrap()" PHP function with input originating from untrusted sources.
