| CVE reference: | CVE-2006-2046 CVE-2006-2047
|
|
Description: r0t has reported some vulnerabilities in Cartweaver, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed to the "category" parameter in Results.cfm, and to the "ProdID" parameter in Details.cfm isn't properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
The vulnerability has been reported in version 2.16.11 for ColdFusion. Other versions may also be affected.
Note: It is also possible to reveal installation path by passing invalid parameter values to Results.cfm, Details.cfm, and Results.cfm.
Solution: Update to version 2.17.11.
Provided and/or discovered by: r0t
Changelog: 2006-04-28: Added CVE references.
2006-08-23: Updated "Solution" section.
