Description: satanchild123 has reported a vulnerability in Invision Power Board, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed to the "from_contact" cookie parameter when posting a message to another user is not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation requires a valid user account.
The vulnerability has been reported in versions 2.0 through 2.1.5.
Solution: Apply patches.
