|
Description: d4igoro has discovered some vulnerabilities in 321soft Php-Gallery, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks and disclose sensitive information.
1) Input passed to the "path" parameter in index.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
2) Input passed to the "path" parameter in index.php is also not properly verified before being used to browse directories. This can be exploited to list the content of arbitrary directories and view arbitrary images with privileges of the web server.
The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in version 0.95. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Vulnerability #2 has been fixed in version 0.96.
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
