Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in CA Resource Initialization Manager (CAIRIM), which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges.

The vulnerability is caused due to an error within the CAIRIM LMP SVC and can be exploited to gain supervisor state (key 0). This can further be used to manipulate any system memory areas.

The vulnerability only affects the CAIRIM LMP component for z/OS systems.
