Description:
Hamid Ebadi has reported some vulnerabilities in evoTopsites and evoTopsites Pro, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.

Input passed to the "cat_id" and "id" parameters in index.php is not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.

Solution:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.

Provided and/or discovered by:
Hamid Ebadi

Changelog:
2006-05-15: Added CVE reference.
