|
Description: CodeScan Labs have reported multiple vulnerabilities in IdealBB, which can be exploited by malicious users to compromise a vulnerable system or by malicious people to disclose certain sensitive information, conduct cross-site scripting and SQL injection attacks.
Input passed to unspecified parameters is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to disclose the contents of arbitrary files in the web root directory, execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site, manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code, and execute arbitrary ASP code by uploading files with the extension ".asa".
The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 1.5.4a. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Use another product.
Provided and/or discovered by: CodeScan Labs
Changelog: 2006-05-16: Added CVE references.
