Beskrivelse:
Der er rapporteret en sårbarhed i Skype, som kan udnyttes af ondsindede personer til at omgå bestemte sikkerhedsrestriktioner og potentielt afsløre følsom information.

Sårbarheden skyldes en fejl i fortolkningen af parametre suppleret via URI handleren. Dette kan udnyttes til at indsætte en yderligere kommandolinie switch til Skype klienten for at starte overførslen af en fil fra en Skype bruger til en anden via en specielt udformet Skype URL uden at afsenderen eksplicit skal godkende handlingen.

Succesfuld udnyttelse kræver at brugeren følger en ondsindet Skype URL og at modtageren tidligere har godkendt afsenderen.

Sårbarheden er rapporteret i følgende versioner af Skype for Windows.
* Release 2.0.*.104 og tidligere
* Release 2.5.*.0 til 2.5.*.78
