Description: Luigi Auriemma has reported a vulnerability in Beats of Rage (BOR) Engine, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a format string error within the "shutdown()", "predrawstatus()", and "update()" functions. This can potentially be exploited to execute arbitrary code via a specially crafted mod file.
Successful exploitation requires that the user is e.g. tricked into opening a malicious mod file.
The vulnerability has been reported in version 1.0029. Prior versions may also be affected.
