|
Description: l0om has reported some vulnerabilities in Cosmoshop, which can be exploited by malicious users to disclose sensitive information and by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
1) Input passed to the "file" parameter in edit_mailtexte.cgi and bestmail.cgi isn't properly sanitised before being used to view files. This can be exploited to disclose the content of arbitrary files via directory traversal attacks.
Examples:
http://[host]/cgi-bin/admin/bestellvorgang/edit_mailtexte.cgi?file=../../[file]%00
http://[host]/cgi-bin/admin/bestmail.cgi?action=view&file=../../[file]%00
Successful exploitation requires administrative privileges.
2) Input passed to the "artnum" parameter in lshop.cgi isn't properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Example:
http://[host]/cgi-bin/lshop.cgi?action=showdetail&artnum=[code]&wkid=2002g&ls=d&nocache=
The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 8.11.106. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
Provided and/or discovered by: l0om
Changelog: 2006-07-19: Added CVE references.
