Description: RedTeam has reported a vulnerability in Prodder, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to an input validation error in the RSS parser. This can be exploited to inject and execute arbitrary shell commands via the "url" attribute of the "enclosure" tag when processing a podcast feed from a malicious server.
The vulnerability has been reported in version 0.4. Prior versions may also be affected.
Solution: Update to version 0.5.
