Description: luny has reported some vulnerabilities in Publicist, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct script insertion and SQL injection attacks.
1) Input passed to various fields when adding comments to an article is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which is executed in a user's browser session in context of a vulnerable site when a malicious comment is viewed.
2) Input passed to various parameters is not properly sanitised before being used in an SQL query. This may be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 0.95. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
