Description: Two vulnerabilities have been reported in AIX, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges.
The vulnerabilities are caused due to errors within the "lsmcode" and the "update_flash" programs when handling commands that do not use absolute paths. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary code with root privileges.
