|
|
Description: Some vulnerabilities have been reported in Achievo, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct SQL injection attacks and by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
1) Input passed to the "atkselector" parameter in class.employee.inc is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation requires that the user has access to the Employee Administration page.
The vulnerability is reported in version 1.1.0 and 1.2. Prior versions may also be affected.
2) Input passed to the "config_atkroot" parameter in atk.inc is not properly sanitised before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local or external resources.
Example:
http://[host]/index.php?config_atkroot=[file]
Successful exploitation requires that "register_globals" is enabled.
The vulnerability is reported in version 1.1.0. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Update to version 1.2.1.
