Description: Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in Hogstorps guestbook, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions and conduct script insertion attacks.
1) Improper authentication in admin/radera/tabort.asp and admin/redigera/redigera2.asp can be exploited to edit and delete arbitrary guestbook entries.
2) Input passed to the "name", "email", and "headline" form field parameters when posting a message is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in version 2.0. Other versions may also be affected.
