rgod has reported a vulnerability in DotClear, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
Input passed to the "blog_dc_path" parameter in layout/prepend.php is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary PHP code by including files from local or remote resources.
Successful exploitation requires PHP5 with register_globals and allow_url_fopen enabled.
The vulnerability has been reported in version 1.2.4. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly verified.
