Description

Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in WebspotBlogging, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks or to compromise a vulnerable system.

1) Input passed to the "path" parameter in /inc/logincheck.inc.php, /inc/adminheader.inc.php, /inc/global.php, and /inc/mainheader.inc.php is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary PHP code by including files from local or external resources.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires that "register_globals" is enabled.

2) Input passed via the "id" parameter to showpost.php is not properly sanitised before being used in an SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 3.01 and 3.02. Other versions may also be affected.
