Description: h07 has discovered a vulnerability in CesarFTP, which can be exploited by malicious users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) and potentially compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error within the handling of the MKD command. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow and may allow arbitrary code execution.
The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 0.99g. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Grant only trusted users access to affected systems.
