Description:
David "Aesthetico" Vieira-Kurz has reported a vulnerability in CFXe CMS, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
Input passed to the "voltext_suche" parameter in search.cfm isn't properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerability has been reported in version 2.0. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
