Beskrivelse: iDefense Labs har rapporteret en sårbarhed i Windows Media Player, som kan udnyttes af ondsindede personer til at kompromittere en brugers system. Sårbarheden skyldes en ikke-kontrolleret buffer under dekodningen af PNG-filer (Portable Network Graphics). Dette kan udnyttes til at forårsage et stack-baseret buffer overflow via et specielt udformet PNG-billede, når en bruger åbner en ondsindet WMZ-fil eller besøger et ondsindet website.
