Description:
RedTeam has reported a vulnerability in phpBannerExchange, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.

Input passed to the "email" parameter in resetpw.php isn't properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 2.0 RC5. Prior versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Update to version 2.0 RC6.
