| CVE reference: | CVE-2006-3095 CVE-2006-3096
|
|
Description: r0t has reported some vulnerabilities in iPostMX 2005, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
Input passed to the "RETURNURL" parameter in userlogin.cfm and account.cfm is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
Solution: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
Provided and/or discovered by: r0t
Changelog: 2006-06-23: Added CVE references.
