Description:
Soroush Dalili has reported a vulnerability in Hosting Controller, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions and potentially compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the verification of user permissions when accessing certain scripts. This can be exploited to gain host admin privileges and to view all resellers and change their passwords via the hosting/addreseller.asp, Admin/Accounts/AccountActions.asp, and Admin/Check_Password.asp scripts.

This can further be exploited to register malicious DLL files.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 6.1 prior to Hotfix 3.2.

Solution:
Apply Hotfix 3.2.
