Description: Two vulnerabilities have been discovered in Mambo, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed to the "Name" field and the "catid" parameter when submitting a web link isn't properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in version 4.5.3h and has also been reported in versions 4.6rc1 and 4.5.2.3. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Apply patch.
