Description: Charles H. has reported a vulnerability in Maximus SchoolMAX, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
Input passed to the "error_msg" parameter in icue_login.asp is not properly sanitised before being returned to users. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerability affects version 4.0.1. Other version may also be affected.
Solution: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
Provided and/or discovered by: Charles H., InfoGuard Group.
Changelog: 2006-06-28: Added CVE reference.
