Beskrivelse:
Der er rapporteret nogle sårbarheder i MAILsweeper for SMTP/Exchange, som kan udnyttes af ondsindede personer til at omgå visse sikkerhedsforanstaltninger og potentielt udføre et DoS (Denial of Service).

1) En fejl eksisterer under håndteringen af beskeder, der specificerer et ikke-eksisterende tegnsæt. Dette kan udnyttes til at omgå tekst-analyse.

2) En fejl eksisterer under håndteringen af reverse DNS-opslag, når "Received" headeren i en besked indeholder ikke-ASCII tegn. Dette kan udnyttes til at få Receiver-servicen til at stoppe med at behandle beskeder.

3) En fejl eksisterer under håndteringen af visse fejlbehæftede beskeder. Dette kan udnyttes til at få Security-servicen til at stoppe med at behandle beskeder.

Sårbarhederne er rapporteret i følgende produkter:

* MIMEsweeper for Exchange version 4.3.19
