Description: A vulnerability has been reported in EnergyMech, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an error within "parse_notice" when handling empty CTCP NOTICE messages. This can be exploited to cause the application to crash via an empty CTCP NOTICE sent from IRC.
The vulnerability has been reported in versions prior to 3.0.2.
Solution: Update to version 3.0.2.
