Beskrivelse:
Der er rapporteret en sårbarhed i Novell GroupWise, som kan udnyttes af ondsindede brugere til at omgå visse sikkerhedsforanstaltninger.

Sårbarheden skyldes en fejl i GroupWise Windows Client API. Dette kan udnyttes til at få adgang til visse ikke-autoriserede emails i samme godkendte post office.

Sårbarheden er rapporteret i følgende versioner:

* Novell GroupWise 6.0
* Novell GroupWise 6.5
* Novell GroupWise 7
* Novell GroupWise 32-bit Client

Installér SP6 Client Update 1 (dateret 27-06-2006)

Installér GroupWise 7 SP1 (dateret 19-06-2006)
http://support.novell.com/filefinder/20641/index.html

Producenten anbefaler, at brugere af ikke-supporterede GroupWise versioner (5.x og 6) opgraderes til enten GroupWise 6.5 SP6 Update 1 eller GroupWise 7 SP1.

NOTE: Producenten anbefaler yderligere, at ældre Windows-klienter lukkes ude via ConsoleOne efter opdateringen. Hvis Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) er installeret i et GroupWise 7 miljø bør klienter lukkes ude baseret på klient-dato i stedet for klient-version. Den anbefalede lock-out dato er 13-06-2006-06 for at sikre, at systemet ikke er sårbart.
